TIEBREAKERS
1. Best record
2. Head-to-head record between two teams, either to break a tie among division leaders or to break a tie for a payout level among divisional leaders.
3. If teams are in the same division and split head-to-head, the greatest margin of victory (including point spreads).
4. If three or more teams are tied within a division, the highest winning percentage in the round-robin competition between the tied teams. If three or more division leaders share the same record, the highest winning percentage in the round-robin competition between the teams, but only if all the tied teams have played each other. If all the teams have not played each other, the round-robin games can be sued to eliminate one team from the tiebreaker if it has lost to all others involved in the tie, or used to elevate a team to the top of the tiebreaker if it has defeated all others involved in the tie.
5. Best winning percentage in conference games, even if the tie is among divisional leaders from different conferences.
6. Best record vs. common opponents.
7. Best record in division.
