In 2011, Newsweek name University High, which is adjacent to the UC Irvine campus, as the top public school in California -- and the No. 8 public school in America. Adam attended school with Will Farrell, and played football with Shar Pourdanesh, the first Iranian to play in the NFL.

Although Adam is a New York native and a lifelong Giants' fan, he went deep into the archives to find inspiration in naming his N-FLATS franchise: Little Giants was a relatively obscure 1994 film about a pee wee football team from Urbana, Ohio. But it gained enough cult status over the years to inspire a sequel -- Little Giants Go For 2 -- 26 years later.

If I may indulge in the first person . . .
I did not. I grew up in Columbus and have attended games for 50 years -- I often plan trips to my hometown to coincide with football season. I LOOOVE the Buckeyes, and always will. But after attending high school just a few miles from campus, I felt the need to get the hell out of Dodge.

He has a double connection to the Buffalo franchise: Brian is friends with retired Bills linebacker Lorenzo Alexander, the MVP of the 2018 Pro Bowl; and a guy named Brian Higgins is the U.S. Congressman from Buffalo.

Among the biggest players on the field every week as a massive offensive tackle for the Eagles, Dennis actually earned an invitation to the Central Ohio All-Star Game as a punter -- the largest in the state. He was invited to walk on at Cincinnati, but college wasn't his jam.

A lifelong , hard-core Cleveland Browns fan, Dennis once won a writing contest that rewarded his mother with a lap around the stadium with other cancer survivors as players and fans rose in a standing ovation. His AFC franchise name stems from the notorious 1969 Cuyahoga River Fire. His NFC franchise is an ode to his love of the long-running sitcom, Frasier. Think of cranes as large sea birds.
