A sports memorabilia dealer and assistant football coach for 2021 CIF Division 6 Champion Newport Harbor, Adam may be the most prolific Southern California recruiter the Bread Pool has ever known. Among the legions in his recruitment tree is 2008 BP Champ James Leung.
In 2011, Newsweek name University High, which is adjacent to the UC Irvine campus, as the top public school in California -- and the No. 8 public school in America. Adam attended school with Will Farrell, and played football with Shar Pourdanesh, the first Iranian to play in the NFL.
Although Adam is a New York native and a lifelong Giants' fan, he went deep into the archives to find inspiration in naming his N-FLATS franchise: Little Giants was a relatively obscure 1994 film about a pee wee football team from Urbana, Ohio. But it gained enough cult status over the years to inspire a sequel -- Little Giants Go For 2 -- 26 years later.
A sportswriter for newspapers from coast-to-coast until age 40, Brian nowadays runs the burgeoning Meadow of Shame empire and designs websites, among other things, for the company he founded: CleanBreakMedia
He is the author of a humor memoir:
What? Brian didn't go to Ohio State??
If I may indulge in the first person . . .
I did not. I grew up in Columbus and have attended games for 50 years -- I often plan trips to my hometown to coincide with football season. I LOOOVE the Buckeyes, and always will. But after attending high school just a few miles from campus, I felt the need to get the hell out of Dodge.
Brian attended DePaul University in Chicago before transferring to Southern Illinois to pursue the journalism degree. You can hear his interview with Radio DePaul here. He has a double connection to the Buffalo franchise: Brian is friends with retired Bills linebacker Lorenzo Alexander, the MVP of the 2018 Pro Bowl; and a guy named Brian Higgins is the U.S. Congressman from Buffalo.
A banker by day, Dennis was for decades the Norm Peterson of one of the most popular bars in the Ohio State area, Patrick J's, until its closure in 2016. He is widely referred to as a thinking man's Chris Farley.
Among the biggest players on the field every week as a massive offensive tackle for the Eagles, Dennis actually earned an invitation to the Central Ohio All-Star Game as a punter -- the largest in the state. He was invited to walk on at Cincinnati, but college wasn't his jam.
A lifelong , hard-core Cleveland Browns fan, Dennis once won a writing contest that rewarded his mother with a lap around the stadium with other cancer survivors as players and fans rose in a standing ovation. His AFC franchise name stems from the notorious 1969 Cuyahoga River Fire. His NFC franchise is an ode to his love of the long-running sitcom, Frasier. Think of cranes as large sea birds.
Kevin owns an oilfield finance company, Cornerstone Funding, and shares an office with fellow N-FLATS owners Ryan Peckham and Matt Cressman. Kevin's son Josh also is an N-FLATS owner.
The Rams of Angelo State -- a school located in Texas' Concho Valley -- were a major factor in Kevin taking the LA Rams franchise. Plus, he was born in Long Beach, CA, just south of LA.
SoCal by birth, Texan by choice!
Kevin's AFC team is named in honor of his charitable foundation, which provides tequila for massage therapists who have serviced DeShaun Watson. He recently expanded his foundation's service are to Cleveland.
An accountant by day, Lisa took up art as a coping mechanism when her fiance died suddenly in 2014. Her company, LisaBsWorld (website designed by Brian Higgins) sells her paintings, jewelry and other artistic creations online and at SoCal art fairs most weekends, year-round.
Lisa was a late bloomer, securing her bachelor's at degree at age 30 and her masters in finance from the Malibu campus -- often cited by as the nation's most picturesque -- as a 40-year-old.
Lisa was born and raised in Cocoa Beach, FL (adjacent to Cape Canaveral Space Station) and is a lifelong Dolphins' fan. Relocating to SoCal at age 24 did nothing to distinguish her love of the Fins.
